Three license types are available: Portable, LAN, and WAN.
SIMetrix/SIMPLIS is provided as a perpetual license, with version updates available through maintenance.
Each license purchase includes 12 months of maintenance, which provides technical support and access to the latest product updates.
Portable
License
USB Dongle Key
Portable license is controlled by a USB dongle key and is used on a single PC without a license server.
- Not supported in remote access environments (Terminal Services, Remote Desktop)
- LAN license is required for remote access environments
LAN
License
Local Area Network
Install the license manager on a license server PC, allowing multiple users on the same network to share licenses.
- Concurrent users are limited to the number of purchased licenses
- Server PC requirements are available in the Resources section
WAN
License
Wide Area Network
Can be used anywhere in the world without network location restrictions.
Academy License
Integrated Package(University Package)
A combined package of faculty and laboratory licenses, optimized for both teaching and research.
